Commercial Electrical Fit-Out in Downtown Red Bank, Red Bank
Project Details
About This Project
A national retailer leasing a 2,800 square foot storefront on Broad Street in downtown Red Bank needed a complete electrical build-out before their planned opening date. The existing space had been gutted to the studs, leaving only the utility service drop. The timeline was tight: six weeks from permit to final inspection.
JLC Electrical Contractors LLC installed a new 400-amp, three-phase commercial electrical panel with dedicated subpanels for lighting and mechanical systems. The lighting plan included 48 recessed LED downlights on dimmer circuits, track lighting for display areas, and emergency egress fixtures per NJ commercial code. The team wired 22 dedicated circuits for point-of-sale terminals, security cameras, display cases, and the HVAC system, running EMT conduit throughout the open ceiling for a clean industrial look.
The project passed all inspections on schedule, and the tenant received their certificate of occupancy two days ahead of the planned opening. The retailer has since commented that the lighting quality and circuit reliability exceed what they typically see in new build-outs, and JLC Electrical Contractors LLC completed the job under the original estimate.
